Inlays and Onlays
You may need an inlay or onlay to restore a portion of the tooth instead of the whole tooth. An onlay covers only a portion of the tooth. An inlay is placed on the biting surface of the teeth. These are necessary to restore the teeth permanetly. This procedure takes 2 appointments and a lab custom makes the restorations. They are cemented or bonded in permanently. They can be gold or porcelain depending on your needs.
Veneers
Veneers are a permanent restoration that restores just your front teeth. They cover only the lip portion of the tooth. Maybe your teeth are chipped, discolored or just not what you are happy with, veneers can be an option for you. They are made by a lab and have a customized color that fits your smile. This appointment takes about 2 visits. The veneers are bonded to permanently restore your smile.
Bridges
Missing teeth can be replaced by a bridge. A fixed bridge is cemented to natural teeth next to the space left by the missing teeth. This procedure takes 2 appointments and the material is usually porcelain. It is cusom made by a dental lab.
